which Linux distribution is best... ?
We all know that according to our need we can select distribution, now share your knowledge about needs and distributions
A difficult question to answer ! I can just tell you what I'm using. I had been using debian 3.1 (X86_64) for almost wo year. Now tying out Debian 4. Pretty good, I'm very much satisfied.
Also Suse 10.2 is work trying, I have Suse 10.1 Along with my debian as a secondary one. About admin apps, every body should learn from Suse.
I have stopped using Redhat and Fedora. Redhat don't give me updates, and Fedora, is too much on the cutting edge side. Students will benefit from that.
There are thousands of other distributions, but I would like to stick to Debian and /or suse on the desktop. For the server, I 'll prefer Redhat EL with the right subscription option.
